Flowering tillandsias - crazy air plant colors

Flowering tillandsias - crazy air plant colors. This is what we have been waiting for and what characterizes spring and summer in the "tillis". After the "forced rest" of winter, plants with more light are absorbed with life, and after a little soaking, the summer epiphytic elegance begins. Orange, red, purple, yellow, pink and cyclamen moods come alongside the ash-greens, and the blossoms at the end of the flower stem decorate even after flowering.

Ornamental plants known as tillandsia may be among the easiest to keep. Their keeping is very simple and does not involve any circumstance. Most of them are not dwellers, so they can be fixed almost anywhere in a variety of ways. The most perfect plant home decoration without soil, dirt and complications. All you need to do is irrigate at times and give them light. Tillandsias can also be used as spatial decorations. They can be use into space on any surface, either around a picture frame or on a lace curtain. There are some who plant a regular plant wall, who have only a few plants. Worrying about other houseplants, ficuses, palms, etc ... They can also be placed with binding, gluing or simple placement. They can be placed in transparent glass globes, flat ceramic plates, bonsai bowls, vine branches or anything that you like for this purpose. The point is that we can spray / watering the plant. What do we do with them? Put it in a shiny place. Tillandsias love light and develop well when they get it. During the winter season, we water it once or twice a week, and in the summer, every two days - daily. From time to time, dissolve the nutrient solution for Tillandsias and water it so that their nutrient supply is adequate. How do we water Tillandsias? You can spray water with a hand spray. If there are other options, it is best to either keep it under the tap and rinse with water or dip the plant for one minute in water. Do you forget watering? Probably no big trouble. They need to be immersed in water for a couple of hours and that's all.

In the video below, you can see a compilation of blossoming tillandsias. Of course, without the need for completeness, since there are countless variations that exist and for decades we are constantly expanding our variety of plants, we do not have (yet) all of them.
