Tillandsia disticha: An endemic species native to Ecuador, Colombia and Peru, pseudobulb species. It has long, thin, green and grass-like leaves. The inflorescence is complex, greenish-yellow, while the flowers are yellow. It is easy to keep and can be propagated well from seed. It can be kept in the garden in summer, but protected from the scorching sun. In winter, place it in a bright place, near a window and provide it with a minimum of 15 degrees Celsius.
