Tillandsia fasciculata: Its natural habitat covers the whole of Central America, Colombia, Venezuela, the Caribbean and even found in Florida. It also owes its varied appearance and varied inflorescence to this spread over a large area. The diameter of the plant can be 30 centimeters, but it can even reach 75 centimeters. The leaves can be thin or thick, varying in color from dark green to gray-green. However, each has a hard and stiff leaf. The inflorescence is also varied because it can be simple or complex in color from yellowish green to dark red, but the flowers are all purple and tubular in shape. They prefer a sunny, semi-shady warm place and should be provided with a minimum of 16 degrees Celsius even in winter.
