Tillandsia magnusiana: Its natural habitat runs from southern Mexico to Nicaragua. It is located at an altitude of 1100-1800 meters above sea level. It follows an epiphytic lifestyle, which means that it settles in forests on tree branches or tree trunks. The size of the plant is 10-15 centimeters, but adult specimens can reach 20 centimeters. The leaves are silvery in color, with many thin and flexible leaves forming a rosette. The simple inflorescence grows from the center of the rosette, the flowers are usually purple, but there is also a white-flowered version. Care should be taken to ensure that overwatering and stagnant water destroys it. In summer we can keep it in the garden in a sunny place, but we protect it from the scorching sun with shading and we can water it (spray it) every other day. In winter, it can be kept in a bright place at 10-15 ℃ degrees with minimal watering, or in a room window with one or two waterings a week.
