Tillandsia capitata: Its natural habitats are found in the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Mexico. It prefers a warmer drier climate and also grow on trees and rocks. The base species has gray-green leaves, when flowering the bracts leaves become nicely colored, the flowers are purple and tubular form. It is a fairly widespread and easy-to-maintain species that already has many clones. In summer, keep it outdoors in a sunny place because you love a lot of sunlight. It tolerates wintering well in the apartment at 16-21 degrees Celsius or warmer is ideal for it.
