The plant is gray-green in color with the leaves bending back and twisting. The inflorescence is red and the flowers are purple and tubular. It is a popular species because it is easy to keep, sprouts well, and quickly forms a colony. Keep it outdoors in the summer because it loves a lot of light, but protect it from the scorching sun.
